Hi I’M LIZ.
Art Director & Stylist
I’m fascinated by the things people almost overlook. The details, the atmosphere, the feeling that something feels right long before anyone can explain why. Most of my ideas don’t begin at a desk. They begin by noticing something that makes me stop for a second.
That curiosity has shaped the way I work as an Art Director over the past seven years.
Based in Berlin, I develop integrated 360° campaigns, visual storytelling and editorial image-making for international brands. My work often starts long before the first layout or moodboard. It starts with observing people, collecting references and understanding what makes something honest, distinctive and emotionally resonant.
Over the years, I’ve developed campaigns for brands such as Audi and Volkswagen, shaping projects from early concepts through production and final execution across multiple touchpoints. While automotive has been my professional foundation, it has never defined the way I think creatively. What has always interested me most is building visual worlds around brands. Creating identities, narratives and experiences that stay with people long after they’ve seen them.
Fashion has always been part of that world. Long before I worked as a fashion stylist, I was fascinated by the way clothing can shape identity, atmosphere and storytelling. During the pandemic, that curiosity naturally evolved into editorial styling alongside my work as an Art Director.
To deepen this direction, I completed a Diploma in Marketing & Communications for Fashion & Luxury Brands through ELLE Education and Camilo José Cela University in Madrid. It strengthened my understanding of how brands create relevance, desire and cultural connection through visual storytelling.
Awards are lovely, but they’ve never been the measure that matters most to me. I care far more about whether an idea connects. Whether it sparks curiosity, shifts a perspective or simply makes someone pause for a moment.
When I’m not somewhere between concepts, feedback loops and clothing racks, you’ll probably find me with my nose in a book or scribbling poems into a notebook. I used to write and perform slam poetry, and some of my work eventually found its way into a gallery and a local magazine, which still feels slightly surreal.
Storytelling, in one form or another, has always been the common thread.
So if you’re looking for someone who combines campaign thinking with an editorial eye and a genuine curiosity for people, culture and visual storytelling, I’d love to hear from you.
